Triple Chop farmer is another great build for these and other melee type mobs – see pvxwiki for it.

i would use a sword because you will have the option to use hundred blades witch is very useful to gain adrenalin.
and another skill is the skill you can get from the hero skill trader ( forgot the name ) it is the same as cyclone axe but stronger if you have a nice sunspear rank.

Not perfect, but then again, are any? I would say why does it have to be an axe and not a sword?
