Train a Dire Pet
Dire is the highest damage evolution for a pet, and is ideal for an aggressive beastmaster. It’s also a hard evolution to get. Most pets are hearty because of all the damage they take. If you want a dire pet you have to specially train it.
To get a dire pet you need it to deal a lot of damage to enemies and not take a lot of damage itself. While training you need to put a lot of points into beastmastery. You will also want defensive pet skills like Call of Protection to keep it from taking damage. If you can tank while the pet deals damage that’s ideal.
The best spots for leveling up your pet are the minotaurs outside Ice Tooth Cave, and the Mergoyles outside Gates of Kryta. Set up your character defensively and let your pet kill them. It takes a long time for it to level, but once it gets to level 15 and becomes dire it will never change again. Congratulations on getting the best pet in the game!

i have pet mini azur please help for train this pet
I have discovered a secret method to training a Dire pet requiring no skills whatsoever (other than the charm animal skill of course). I have yet to decide if this method is technically an exploit, or a valid training method, and so will not disclose that information to the public at this time. If I get verification from Devs that this is a valid method, then I will post it.
He’s talking about deathleveling a pet, LOL. Attack a trainable animal near a res shrine let it kill you for like 5 hours. You’ll notice the animal gets to 15 or higher charm it walla dire pet.
You can’t train Mini pets.
can a prize winning hog still be tammed or is that impossible-also i realise no-one has put a comment on this in over a year lol

we are talking Beast Mastery Pets, not mini pets. You know, Charm Animal, Comfort Animal, etc.? *cough fool cough*
